What is a MOMS Club and what do they do?
MOMS Club® of Brandywine Wallace/Springton Manor is a local chapter of the International MOMS Club, an international non-profit group, specifically designed for moms.
Geared to the stay-at-home or working mom, most of our activities, with the exception of our monthly Moms Night Out, are scheduled during the day, and your children are always included. Nursing infants and toddlers are also welcome at any MOMS Club activity.
The MOMS Club® of Brandywine Wallace/Springton Manor offers many events in and around our community for you and you children to enjoy.
PLAYGROUPS - A small group of moms and their kids that get together on a regular basis (usually monthly). Groups are formed based on children's ages and are a great way to meet new friends!
CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES - Activities are offered for a variety of age groups, giving children a chance to meet other kids, experience the world around them, and to have fun!
MONTHLY MEETING - We have our monthly meeting at East Brandywine Baptist Church in Downingtown, PA. Meetings include a craft, snacks, an occasional guest speaker on a topic of interest to moms, club business, and an opportunity to just meet and socialize.
SEASONAL PARTIES - More festive than our regular monthly meetings, we have seasonal parties a few times a year. These events include special crafts, activities and treats for the kids.
HELPING HANDS - The Helping Hands program is for moms who just had a child (whether it's your first child or your fifth), or have been put on bed rest or have a family illness to contend with. At your request, club members will deliver meals to your doorstep.
MOMS NIGHT OUT - Once a month we get together for a night out on the town! MNO is a great way to relax and connect with other members!
SERVICE PROJECTS - As a chapter of the International MOMS Club, we are required to complete at least one charitable project per year. We do several throughout the year and are always looking for new ways to give back to the community.
NEWSLETTER - The monthly newsletter includes new member announcements, club celebrations, information about local events, local services and businesses, and more!
